Our upcoming Canna Lily skincare line will be formulated with premium high quality natural ingredients that include Canadian hemp oil from the cannabis sativa hemp plant. Our initial skincare product line will include a face cream, body lotion, hand cream, body butter and a medicated healing salve, with hemp oil infusions. We are planning to launch this product line near the end of 2019.

When regulations permit, our skincare line will include CBD and/or THC from the cannabis plant. Our products will incorporate targeted terpenes and cannabinoids from curated strains; producing unique chemical profiles.

Our aim is to utilize scientific data to develop efficacious formulas to treat a variety of medical conditions such as: arthritic pain, dermatitis, psoriasis, inflammation and dry itchy skin. We will source high quality cannabis from licensed Canadian growers.

Canna Lily will expand its product offerings in the future. These products will include dried flower, tinctures, oils, capsules and sublingual sprays.

The Benefits of Topical Treatments Infused with Hempseed Oil

Hempseed oil contains a wide range of nutrients, including minerals, vitamins, proteins and fatty acids, to promote and maintain good skin health.

Hemp oil is also high in Omega 6 and Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EFA), which makes it an excellent natural emollient and moisturizer to protect and regenerate skin.

EFAs are type of polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) that cannot not be synthesized by the human body, and therefore, must be obtained through ingestion or topical application.

Oregon State University Study Essential Fatty Acids and Skin Healthreported, “Topical application of oil is an effective means of delivering EFAs to the skin and, eventually, to the rest of body. Because a significant portion of ingested EFAs may be oxidized by the liver (up to 60% of ALA and 20% of LA (37)) before reaching peripheral tissues, topical application may be a more efficient route of delivery for skin effects, especially during deficiency (35).”
